Morocco Authentic Tour : 10 days – 9 nights - From and back to Casablanca

Day 1: Casablana airport to Rabat

You will be greeted upon your arrival at Mohammad V airport in Casablanca and will be escorted to your hotel. Our representative will provide brief review of your tour. A discovering visit to the economic capital of the country and its biggest city. We will start with an outside visit to the splendid Hassan II mosque: a breathtaking landmark of Casablanca. Continue along to the Ain Diab Corniche where sometime walk along the cost line is highly appreciated. We will leave Casablanca along the coast line to the political capital of Morocco, Rabat. Overnight with dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Rabat to Fez via Meknes and Volibilus

In the morning visit of Rabat: the political capital of the country - visit Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum and Oudaya Kasbah. Then continue towards Meknes and enter through the large monumental gate "Bab Mansour" to visit Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. The mausoleum is one of the most impressive buildings in the city. Depending on the time of our visit, we may be able to enter and view the beautifully decorative tomb. Our trip reaches the Roman town Volibulis for a worthy visit before ending the day in the oldest city in Morocco Fez. Dinner, breakfast and night in a hotel or Riad.

Day 3: Fes (Explore the City)

Today we’ll explore the oldest imperial city of Morrocco with more than 10.000 tiny streets offering the largest “medina” (old city) and souks in the world. The Bab Boujloud Gate, Bou Inania Medersa, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, Andalusian and Quaraouiyine Mosque, Najjarine Square and the Spices Market, Atarine Medersa, the surroundings of Karaouine Medina and Mellah will be the sites visited today. Overnight stay in Fes.

Day 4: Fes to Merzouga via Cedar Forest and Ziz Valley

After breakfast we’ll depart for Midelt passing through the Atlas mountains. Midelt is an impressive mountain city at 1488 meters of altitude, remarkably situated down the jbel Ayachi (3737 m). In the afternoon we’ll continue to Erfoud via the canyon of Ziz and the lake of the retaining reservoir Hassan Addakhil. Later we’ll arrive in Erfoud, the city situated at the gates of Tafilalet. Then, continne towards Merzouga for one hour camel ride and Overnight stay either in nomad tent in Erg Chebbi or in a hotel in Merzouga.

Day 5: Erfoud to Ouarzazate via Todra gorges and Rose valley

Early in the morning you can join the optional excursion to Merzouga before departing for Ouarzazate. After breakfast we’ll depart for Tineghir by passing through the breathtaking desert landscape and Oasis with its fantastic palmgroves. Then we’ll travel to Todra Gorges, the narrow canyon where 300 meters high cliffs drop to the riverbed below. In the afternoon we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate, the city famous for its handicrafts, nature, narrow streets and the marvellous surrounding kasbahs.

Day 6: Ouarzazate to Marrakech via Ait Benhaddou and Atlas Mountains

Today we’ll first discover Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most authentic and well maintained villages in the region of Atlas. Then we’ll proceed to Marrakech via the High Atlas mountain and 2700 meters high Tizi n Tichka pass offering magnificent views and a unique landscape. In the afternoon we’ll arrive in Marrakech and start to explore this fascinating city. Marrakech is the point where the Arab culture of the cities meets the Berber culture of the mountain villages; where the weary sub-Saharan traders (carrying gold, salt and slaves) would ply their wares to the merchants who would then bring them to Europe. Today we will visit Djemaa el Fna Square full with story tellers, snake charmers, acrobats, musicians, folklore dancers. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakech (Explore the city)

After breakfast, explore Marrakech's historical sites accompanied by an English-speaking guide: Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. Tour the walls of the old medina, the new Gueliz district, the markets, and the famous Djemaa el Fna Square. The famous square - the size of a football field -is as it was 500 years ago: storytellers, vendors of Magic potions, dancers, snake charmers, and acrobats. Overnight in Marrakech, breakfast.

Day 8: Marrakech to Essaouira

After breafsat, departure towards Essaouira city known as Mogador. Upon arrival, you will enjoy the breeze of the beach and also walking in the old medina a UNESCO World Heritage Site, relatively unspoiled by tourism. The souks are quiet compared with Marrakech and offer an exciting range of craft goods including exquisite marquetry, made from the fragrant local thuya wood. Lunch is to be enjoyed in sea fruit restaurant. After that, you will enjoy a tour to the old port. Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 9: Essaouira to Casablanca

The morning is free to browse and shop or just relax. In the afternoon you begin a leisurely return to Casablanca via the interesting landscapes in a land of picturesque green lains, scattered with forested hills ideal for a pleasant drive. Arrival to Casablanca. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Casablanca to the Airport

Departure to the airport depends on your flight timing.

20% cut for children under 12 years old, Free for children under 5 years old. (One child each family)
